Consulting Services and License reviews - We evaluate existing networks and recommend ways to improve the efficiency of the corporate environment. Our engineers are knowledgeable on all phases of Networking, fulfilling needs from small peer to peer networks to large corporate networks spanning many sites.
Server Configuration and Installation of Novell and or Microsoft networking products such as Windows NT, Windows 2003 server and Backoffice 2000. We also build and install Linux and SCO servers, including user creations, profiles, login scripts and data storage planning.
Disaster prevention and recovery - Installation and support of server necessities to help prevent data loss or downtime. We are also able to assist in data recovery after such an event. Examples of necessities include Raid strategies, Virus protection, Tape and Power backup strategies.
Email – Installation of local and internet email packages such as Microsoft Exchange, Novell GroupWise, Rockliffe mail server and others.
Terminal Services - Recommend, install, and configure Microsoft Terminal Server and Citrix Metaframe solutions.
Application and Communication software - Upgrade and install software necessary to connect workstations to servers, as well as setup of Office applications such as Microsoft or Corel office. Micro Network Solutions will work with custom software vendors to ensure your system meet the optimal configurations required to coexist with other implementations.
WAN design and configuration – Determination of the optimal method to connect remote sites for shared data, Internet, and other resources.
Network and server maintenance – Provide support and maintenance to keep ensure that servers function and software remains current. We are also able to work with remote access via Terminal Server or Netmeeting, which can reduce the cost of on-site visits.
